Rheinfels Castle can be visited all year round. The museum is also open all year round during the castle’s opening hours. The castle only remains closed for safety reasons in adverse weather conditions. This is decided on a daily basis.

Summer season: From March to the end of October, Rheinfels Castle is open to visitors daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
Winter season: From November to the end of February, Rheinfels Castle is open to visitors daily from 10 am to 3 pm.
