The entrance fee includes a visit to the ruins, which you can explore yourself or on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burg-rheinfels.org\/burg-rheinfels-fuehrungen\/\">guided tour<\/a>, as well as admission to the local history museum at the castle.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four-legged visitors also welcome<\/h2>\n\n<p>Maps of the fortress are available at the castle ticket office so you can explore it on your own. This allows you to roam the castle at your own pace. This is great fun, especially for children. To visit the underground <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burg-rheinfels.org\/en\/rheinfels-castle-mine-passages\/\">mine passages<\/a> (only possible as part of a guided tour from April to the end of September), you should bring a flashlight or use the flashlight function on your smartphone. Four-legged visitors are also very welcome at Rheinfels Castle.
